How many of you are in the path of Hurricane Sandy? What steps are you taking to cope with the storm?

I've never been through a hurricane (or an earthquake) being a Midwesterner, but my sister-in-law had the eye of Hurricane Charley go right over her house in Florida. Amazingly her house survived intact, though most of her neighborhood did not.
