Community Pitching Prospect #40 RUNOFF
Separated by 2 votes, Joe Wieland & Justin Nicolino will go to the runoff.
*
Note for myself, I haven't been keeping up with the runoff necessities, but unlike the last poll, Wieland got 10 votes AND more than 15 % of the total votes, neither of which happened in Poll 39, so it does give claim to the previous Richards supporters shifting their support. Given that there are 38 other voters in this runoff, seems like a good idea.

Close call
I went with Joe Wieland, but that could look positively absurd in hindsight if Justin Nicolino continues to build upon his 2011 in the coming years.
Haha
It could, but Weiland has that nice floor and that’s nothing to scoff at. Nicolino could bomb next year and I would look positively absurd for voting for him.

Exactly
You pretty much outlined why I went with Wieland & have been voting for him for a few rounds now. It’s a balancing act for sure & I’ve gone both ways in matchups like this before (Francisco Lindor & Ryan Lavarnway being two choices from both sides of the coin as far as ETA & pro data go).
