I have him higher than this by quite a few spots. The discovery than minor-league OBP is more tightly correlated with major league wOBA (or Tav, or whatever) than any other factor (even than minor-league wOBA) carries some weight for me.
Yep
Grossman should/could be a OBP and thus wOBA monster. Also check out the fact that he hit four more homers last year (13) than he had in his three previous years combined, and he did it in a pitchers league, the FSL (although Bradenton is a mostly neutral park IIRC).
And I’m pimping my homerism probably haha. I will say I’m torn between him and Nimmo, cause I love me some Nimmo though. Bold claim, but he could be the next Mike Trout.
