The B+ to B- group seem like pretty nice players to me.
Specifically, Brown, Panik, Hembree, Joseph, Sanchez, Surkamp, Peguero. The system looks to get real thin real fast after that – I can see John doling out his final C+ grade at around spot #13.
minor notes
Clayton Tanner is in the Reds org now. also, Cavan, not Caven.

"Orlando before Zod" doesn't have the same nice ring to it.

Jose Casilla
What happened to Santiago Casilla’s little brother? Was borderline top 10 last year, got injured, now he’s off the map?
I believe he got cut. I could be wrong though.

I know he's not a rookie anymore, but there's a connection to the list...
..I think Brandon Crawford will hit enough to play SS long-term, certainly his glove is worthy of playing everyday.
That said, Joe Panik did play second in the AFL, so maybe the Giants are subscribing to Crawford’s future hit potential as well.
And Brett Bochy...
Any relation to the head coach? And if so, will there be preferential treatment: opening day starter, batting cleanup, etc?
yes its his son
hes a reliever

Missing Kentrell Hill
He looks like a nice prospect. Giving up completely on Roger Kieschnick? Raphael Rodriguez? I can’t keep them straight, but those skinny Dunning/Dunnington guys deserve a mention. Chuckie Jones is overvalued by Giants fans but he’s very young and raw.
current list
and there is no way to include everyone who could be included. . .i mean, I’m already going to have to cut about 30-40 guys I have already written about for other teams.

hill has tools but too raw at this point. Kieschnick is in because he's on the 40man but i'm not optimisic. I have given up on RR.
John for a sleeper I’d check out Alex Burg. Catcher/Utility guy, finished strong in SJ, tore up the Aussie league. Big test for him next year.
I was cracking about Jake Dunning and Jacob Dunnington being skinny, but I think you should look at those guys as well. The Giants can develop useful arms pretty well.
Totally understand you have to cut off somewhere. The Giants have a lot of interesting depth coming from the low minors and getting supplemented by the International signings. This guy Simon Mercedes, who got suspended for playing age games, is another sleeper.
dunnington
should be added imo. He’s easily aheaf of heston, otero, and staley.

Dunnington vs. Hembree
Not saying Dunnington is better than Hembree but Dunnington’s stats in the CAL league were very similar to Hembree’s. Dunnington was also two years younger.

yeah but it's not all stats. Dunnington has a live arm but Hembree has a better one.

agreed, hembree is definitely better.
just stating that his age relative to league, live arm and, statistics were very enticing which is why I thought he deserved some more consideration.

I think you have to think about cutting Villalona, John.
I heard from a pretty good source the Giants agreed to bring him back on the condition he drop his lawsuit.
He had no chance of winning, but the Giants figured it’s cheaper and less public to bring him back than to pay a contingent of lawyers for a couple of weeks in the Dominican.
I agree with what you said about his questionable hit skills and defensively there really wasn’t a place for him.
I know he’s still young, but being away from the game for two and a half years is almost a lifetime for an athlete, plus we’re not exactly talking about Josh Hamilton here.
I think secretly the Giants hope he hits a buck fifty in spring training or the AZL and they can quietly release him without the threat of additional litigation or fan backlash.
