Vertigo, which was the problem a SD paper reported a few weeks ago, is apparently only the beginning (or a rude approximation) of Cumberland's medical issues. Sad story--and yet amazing he made it as far as he did with that serious of an inner ear problem. I hope he finds something rewarding in or out of baseball going forward.
