I'm hoping someone who's gotten a chance to watch him in the NWL might be able to help me out and give a report on Rougned Odor. He signed for mid-six figures out of Venezuela last year, has MLB lineage (with the equally-awesomely named Rouglas Odor, his uncle and an instructor in the Indians system), had questions about staying on SS, but a highly regarded bat. As a 17-year-old (he would be the youngest player in the AZL this year), he's sporting a 310/381/425 line while facing an awful lot of pitchers four years his senior. I know Spokane is friendlier to hitters than many NWL parks, but those are pretty impressive numbers no matter how you cut them.
So, anyone who's actually put eyes on him this month want to share thoughts on whether he's the next uber-young Rangers SS to garner a ton of attention?
