Is it just me, or does Jaff Decker really seem to be living up to the Matt Stairs comparisons? He has improved his BB% from 2010 but his K% is at 33%. In the hitters' haven of San Antonio, he is struggling to reach a BA of .250, even with a BABIP over .320.
I guess my big fear is that he gets to San Diego in mid-2012 and suffers from Brian Giles syndrome - power/ISO drops dramatically so that his only remaining value will depend on his OBP. Anyone have any insight to cheer me up? lol
