Possible Trade Smoak for Specs
Trade offered to me, Carlos Martinez, Martin Perez for Justin Smoak. I already have Fielder at 1B, and Hosmer at UT for at least the next 3 years. I'm leaning on taking the deal, thoughts? Keeper league, my staff is good, but can always use upside Farm hands.

I'd probably do the trade
I like Smoak a lot but that park is going to really hinder him from a fantasy perspective.

Pretty even trade if you ask me
I think both pitchers have a lot of risk. Smoak has come into his own this year, but he also, as was pointed out, limited by the home park.
Don't do this
Deal Hosmer of Smoak for something else. Don’t make a deal based around a kid who just emerged from the DSL and is 2 or 3 years away. Even worse – a pitcher who could end up with his arm in a sling. Pitching is abundant right now. Teams should not be trading young bats for young arms in any keeper format in my opinion.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
Thanks
I agree Bats over Pitching, but since Smoak is an Extra for me, why not gamble on huge Ceilings such as Martinez and Perez. I did the deal, I also picked up a pick in next years Minor league draft. As long as Hosmer doesn’t some how flop I’ll be ok.
