Dynasty Trade - Quick Help Needed
You guys are great, help me out.
You always come through for me with these trade questions so im gonna ask you guys for a favor again.
Here are the details: 18 team, H2H, Dynasty League. We keep our players from year to year. $100mil salary cap. 30 mlb roster spots, 26 milb roster spots. Players can be called up from the minors and receive a 5 yr contract once they are called up. They do not need to be called up when they reach their innings/ab limits. Thanks. I did.
Anyone can feel free to respond here too. :)
Tough call
I’m not sure if you need to make this trade. I like Matusz and you might be selling him a bit low here. If Zobrist had SS eligibility, I would make this deal. I might try to get more than Villar. Just my thoughts.
Zobrist has 1b, 2b and OF eligibility.
With Ike Davis potentially going on the DL, I don’t have anyone else that is 1B eligible.
Good deal then.
As long as you have a need for it, Zobrist has shown to be good with the bat.
I'd do it

No
As far as I see Villar won’t amount to anything…

didnt look at the team makeup
just like Matusz far too much to do this deal. I could easily see Zobrist being meh while Matusz becomes an ace.
I think you can do better than this
Villar is worth almost nothing. Get a much better prospect or try giving up a worse SP.

I would make the deal
2B is such a weak position and Zobrist is a monster. You will love owning him.
Sure, Matusz is great, but he’s going to be in the AL East indefinitely so his realistic fantasy upside isn’t as high as some less-talented young pitchers in better situations.
