Not 6th lol!!!
I say with his high OBP he should be back in the 2 hole like last season until Chipper retires and he can move into the 3 hole.
+1
The Braves OTOH should hit him 8th.
No but really he’s a 3 hitter to a tee.
He should bat leadoff ...
Heyward
Prado
Jones
McCann
Uggla
Freeman
Gonzalez
McLouth
pitcher
OBP in front of Jones & McCann. Rabbits at the bottom of the order provide RBI opportunities for Heyward. Freeman gets more protection in the six-spot.

Good luck getting through to the ‘old guard’ with this idea though. The kid should get as many PAs as is possible at this point to me.
Preferable I would whant him batting for the Pirates
oh wait thats not what you want. I would have him batting third, that way teams can’t avoid him in the first inning
Players who should be in the Hall of Fame: Pat TIllman, Dwight White, Donnie Shell, L.C. Greenwood, Ray Guy, Steve Tasker, Jack Butler, Greg Llyod, Andy Russel, Cris Carter, Kevin Greene, Curtis Martin, Willie Roaf, Andre Reed and Jerry Kramer

I'll follow the trend
Since he’s a lefty, i would say batting in the left handers batters box is probably where he wants to bat…seriously though, 3rd is ideal for a hitter as good as him.

Everywhere
Preferably, I’d like Jason Heyward in every spot of the lineup, as with the old “All Cal” team in Cal Ripken Jr. Baseball.
The guy needs to be somewhere in the first three spots of the lineup. I don’t really care if it’s leadoff, second, or third. But in my opinion there’s no way to justify batting this guy any lower than three.
