some interesting links about his arthritis condition, etc. from the previous round (h/t cookie)
not a major factor
more of an explanation of his diminished speed, but no one expected it to come back anyway, or he’d be a top 30 prospect. if you believe in his bat at all, he’s got to have the edge over cox.

i put it out there b/c I feel alot of ppl think FMart is just injury prone or has had bad luck...
I for one had no idea till cookie posted it in the previous round, so merely trying to get a discussion going. I’ve got FMart on my short list, so not that I don’t like him and trying to root him out (I am the OP, since I should remain unbiased), but the more info the better, and this sorta thing knocks him down for me if his DEF is going to suffer to as a result
Arthritis is uncurable
So the problem is that you cannot expect his long-term outlook to be better than it is right now. Every year, his knees will diminish more – I would be surprised if he is still playing at 30. As it stands right now, Cox will play at a higher premium position, with similar speed, I believe a similar bat, and without the chronic health issues of F-Mart.

Zach Cox
not sure how the voting goes, but if you want to make the case for or against him, please do so here.
thank you.
I'm voting for Cox, mostly because I am not a huge fan of either
However, I’m pushed to support Cox primariliy because of Jim Callis’s love for the guy. I see Cox as more a fringe-average 3B, and F-Mart finally settling in as a 4th OF who shows flashes of brilliance, but is hampered by inconsistency and injuries throughout his career.
