C+ Prospect Ranking Fun
Hey all, these are some guys who John has ranked as C+ and have played some time in the majors. Let me know how you would rank these guys in overall potential and likelihood of contributing in the majors next season. Obviously none of these guys are sure things, but I don't really know anything about these guys and I figure some of you guys might. Thanks!

If we're talking fantasy, the one who immediately stands out as quick help is Cortes.
In theory, he could be the Closer in Seattle the first couple weeks if he has a great spring and/or Brandon League doesn’t or League gets hurt or League blows a couple saves. He’s basically competing with Chris Ray to be the 3rd guy in the pen.
not necessarily fantasy
this is a sim league so as long as they play and are effective it will help me. But it is based on major league stats so they have to actually play to be of use.
Mike Kohn is going to a middle relief/setup guy in Aneheim, I dont see him ever closing
Trumbo has a lot of potential but is blocked as of now
Lance Berkman= Awesome, CJ Wilson= Jack@$$

If you didn't know by now, my screen name is sarcastic
Donaldson, Cortes, Bowden are the guys I personally like most to produce something out of this group
though Elbert still might do something out of the pen (I’ve always had an irrational love for him).
I still think Bowden could start somewhere, but most of these guys are bullpen/bench guys, but Donaldson has the positional advantage in two ways. Not only can he play catcher (poorly by most accounts), but he is still getting time at 3B and 1B. I could see him getting the most playing time of all these guys, but I would still say Cortes has the best chance of producing value, particularly immediately.
Duda and Trumbo both might be something useful at 1B, but of the two I’d take Duda given he can play the OF and has a better eye at the plate. Sogard over Navarro for me. I could see Sogard putting something together, but Navarro just screams utility guy at this point. Pennington/Rosales/Ellis/Kouzmanoff don’t inspire the most confidence in Oakland, but they are good and there are guys like Cardenas and, too a lesser extent, Donaldson, who might steal AB at those position as well.
For me
1) Daniel Cortes
2) Michael Bowden
3) Josh Donaldson
4) Lucas Duda
5) Eric Sogard
6) Jhan Marinez
7) Mark Trumbo
8) Jose Ceda
9) Scott Elbert
10) Mike Kohn
11) Vinnie Pestano
12) Yamacio Navarro
13) Sam Deduno
