I like Erlin, but Torres should have been on a while ago.
His only weakness is control, but he has good stuff, no injury issues, gets grounders, and gets strikeouts with good stuff.

Well isn’t that a pretty significant weakness, being that the pitchers’ goal is to get outs, which is done by throwing strikes or throwing just off the plate? I agree he has good stuff but can’t you make a pretty long list of guys with great stuff who could never make it in the bigs because of poor control.

His control is an issue, but it has improved.
I guess the point is how does someone like Archer get on the list so far ahead of him? Archer has similar control problems.
And Erlin has problems too. First of all, he is younger and a few levels behind. Second of all, his FB is average to a little above average. I grade pitchers on their fastballs more than most. Plus, he doesn’t get too many grounders.
