The early results surprise me some but, not a lot. I really think that If Rizzo had not been called up at all, he would be much more highly regarded. This may be obvious to some I know – he did hit .140 or whatever. I don’t think his debut actually matters or, will be telling for his future really. He went from one of the absolute best hitting environments in aaa to the worst in the major leagues right?

i wasn't surprised by Rizzo's performance in the majors
maybe slightly worse than i expected, but i was fairly confident he was going to significantly underperform people’s expectations when they started drooling over his AAA numbers
i don’t think he’s that great of a prospect
I wasn't surprised by his poor performance either
I figured there would be a blip on the radar type adjustment.
