"We did a lot of good things last year, and now we've got Julio ... That does nothing but improve the offense, and we expect to do better. That's our goal, to lead the NFL in everything. Every offensive category." -Roddy White

cookie and rhd
were the only ones that listed their tester favorites last time. those guys don’t need to post theirs again, but i’d like to see some other opinions to help me re-sort the tester list.

Tentative testers
- Nate Eovaldi
- Jess Biddle
- Neil Ramirez
- David Holmberg
- Allen Webster
- Addison Reed
- John Lamb
- Alexander Colome
- Tyler Thornburg
- Chris Archer
My favorites are probably Eovaldi & Ramirez, but I feel good about Biddle & Holmberg too. About 80 percent of the back end of this list has something of a ‘reliever sheen’ for what that’s worth as well. As most would agree, assuming health. Johnny Lamb would see a sizeable bump.
Hmm
I like Biddle a lot as well. Big, hard throwing lefty who has logged a lot of effective innings and, didn’t get hurt. Just that alone makes him stand out.
I may be selling short Eovaldi but, you probably are selling short Milone. Maybe check him out again. Eovaldi throws 10 mph faster – I iove velocity too :) – but Millone really, really knows how to pich and, that changeup is a strikout pitch.
I also would argue to you that If the bottom of your list is mostly relievers, you should consider putting Luis Heredia on your list. Even if he amounts to nothing, there is no risk there on his upside. Relievers are not hard to find. Addison Reed could be truly outstanding though.

Good call with Tom Milone
I actually overlooked him when perusing the list (pretty fitting when considering the fact that Milone is fairly overlooked in general). I’d put him right behind my top 4 with Addison Reed & Allen Webster at this point, although my listing is sort of impromptu after Justin Nicolino graduated the ‘testers’ section. Eovaldi is probably a mid-rotation guy at best & I could be blinded by his velocity somewhat, but I did like what I saw at the MLB level enough to give hima bump over a lot of the cats on the list.
Yeah, Luis Heredia is something of a wildcard & it’s not a stretch to say he might be the most talented kid still grouped with the testers. I’m still holding out some hope that Colome & Archer can reestablish a modicum of command & I could be overrating Thornburg (polish relative to competition), but Heredia would be right there in that group for me. Jeurys Familia too (I feel he’s somewhat off the radar).
Ok
Tom Millone, Jesse Biddle, Addison Reed, Luis Heredia, Cody Buckel
Next, I want to like John Hellweg and, Alex Meyer – awesome arms – but, Hellweg may not evelop nearluy enough command and, Meyer may not either. His devilvery is painfull to wach as well.
Just based on one video clip of Heredia, I think an argument could be made that he should be the top guy among the guys on the tester list – incredibl;e arm strength and size for a kid that young and, he isn’t as wild as some of these older prospects here.

Wily Peralta is . .
. one of the only remaiing cantiates who has shown he can log innings and handle it (147.1 and 150 the past two years), has a nice big pitchers frame and stuff (6-2, 240-) and, got better when he got to AAA.
