Rating last year's rookies-Community prospect #3
The results from round 2 are in and the #2 prospect for future performance among last year's rookies is Eric Hosmer. So far we have:
1. Brett Lawrie, 3b Toronto Blue Jays (51%)
2. Eric Hosmer, 1b Kansas City Royals (57%)
The voting breakdown for the second round after Hosmer was: Ackley 19%, Pineda 16%, Jennings 5%, Goldschmidt 3%, Hellickson, Kimbrel, Kipnis, Ramos and Walden all at 0%.
Hellickson and Kimbrel actually got some support the prior round so I'll leave them on the ballot this round in addition to everyone who got a vote. Kipnis (for one round) and Ramos and Walden (for two rounds) come off the ballot for now. I'll bring back Freeman, Moustakas and Chapman this round. Sale will stay off for one more round.
First time on the ballot this round for Cory Luebke, Jemile Weeks and Dominic Brown.
Other testers that we will be getting to in the next few rounds are Kyle Drabek, Mark Trumbo, Danny Espinosa, Zack Britton, Brandon Beachy, Ivan Nova, Henderson Alvarez and Danny Duffy
As always, voting is by #1 and there are places to add testers or vote for players not on the current ballot below
So, who is your #3 prospect for future performance among last year's rookies?
