"If you hit .440 with 20 bombs, you don't have to do s---. You don't have to bring a glove to practice, just hit and leave whenever you want. You can bring a 40 and smoke a cigarette and call me from the parking lot asking me what time the game is, and I'll tell you. You can even say 'F--- you, Steve!' Actually, don't say that, that wouldn't be very nice." -Steve Friend, Head Coach, Chabot College Gladiators Baseball

So far 18 voters haven't voted for Marisnick or Lee
So for you folks, if this goes down to a run-off, who do you pick?

Why are the pirate fans
Voting for Bell over Marte. I think Marte is a solidly better prospect.

I realize
not everyone voting for Bell is a Pirate fan. But several are, as is the guy voting for Marte.

BA/BP both hit the same question in podcast recently
Is Jon Singleton the best 1B prospect in the minors in 2012? There are good arguments for him as that player now. Interesting to consider how many first basemen have either graduated to the majors or dropped off prospect radars in the last 2 years.
