Brandol Perez = Lost Prospect?

In late 2010, Brandol Perez was one of the most exciting young arms in the Mariners' system, forming a dominant staff in the DSL along with Jose Vicente Campos and Erasmo Ramirez.

B-R.com page for Brandol Perez

While the latter two came to the States and made their American league debuts, Perez fell off of the face of the earth.  I can't find any info on him, stateside or overseas.  From all records I can find, he didn't pitch in 2011.  I'm wondering if anyone has any information on what he did in 2011 - did he pitch at all, did he give up baseball, other?  I do know that in the 2010 reports on Perez, he's listed as 17 y.o., yet B-R.com reports he is 19 y.o. - maybe he was suspended for a year for lying about his age.  Much thanks!
