Tough one
Who knows where Martinez will be as a pitcher, in three years, when he will reach Paxton’s stage of development. I’m duly impressed that Pax sailed into AA with no A+ experience and was pretty damned good. Plus, further along meens “less risk” right?

Gotta go with Paxton
But Martinez is next in line for me. Tied at 21 overall right now, it’s gonna be a close one.

Still close
I can see this going either way, but Paxton certainly has a complelling case & posted a mother of a campaign after some less than typical development time by just about any standards.
I’ve been supporting Martinez but a lot of that is age driven. Either make sense here (or before Jake Turner & Jarrod Parker even but what’s done is done).
