Community Pitching Prospect #9
There was a pretty close vote at the top, but with 39.3% of the vote, Dylan Bundy created a little separation and is elected Community Pitching Prospect #8. One person did seem to want a runoff, but more people wanted to move the list along, and no one who voted for anyone other than Bundy or Hultzen expressed a desire for another runoff.

Walker v. Hultzen
I find it interesting how Hultzen gets so much love on this board, yet IMO he’s not even the best pitching prospect on his own team. Walker was simply magnificent in the MWL this past year until he inevitably wore down the last month or so. His pure stuff grades out significantly better than Hultzen’s stuff, and Walker is one of the few pitching prospects in the minors with a true ace ceiling.
Yes Hultzen has a higher floor, and yes he will likely make the bigs sooner, but I bet if you polled all 30 GM’s and asked which pitcher they would rather have, Walker would be the guy.
I'm not so sure
Is it fun to dream on Walker? Sure. But Hultzen is a better pitcher.

I love Walker.
Saw him pitch last year. Think he has a higher ceiling than Hultzen, but Hultzen is so advanced at this stage that it buts him just above Walker in my opinion. Anyways, if this vote is any indication Walker may be voted in directly after Hultzen, that position is negligible in my opinion. Now if Walker goes like 5-6 spots without being voted in I may start to wonder what is up.
Been voting for Hultzen #4
Pretty ridiculous ow he’s not on yet

Just an FYI
this ranking crap during this time of the year was once fun but there are not so many it has now bogged down all user thread posts and now I rarely come on this site because of it.
What would you rather see?
If you want to see something different discussed at this time of year, then post it.

Closing this poll
Hultzen ran away with it as expected with 45.6% of the vote.
