coached against that kid when he was 9 years old playing at the 11u level travel ball. was a monster then and has only gotten better. pretty cool to see that name on the list.

"If you hit .440 with 20 bombs, you don't have to do s---. You don't have to bring a glove to practice, just hit and leave whenever you want. You can bring a 40 and smoke a cigarette and call me from the parking lot asking me what time the game is, and I'll tell you. You can even say 'F--- you, Steve!' Actually, don't say that, that wouldn't be very nice." -Steve Friend, Head Coach, Chabot College Gladiators Baseball

Honestly, I don't know a whole lot about these kids

Perhaps this is something you could post over at MLB Bonus Baby?

Jake Jarvis

Went to school with this kid for a few years before he transferred. He’s a very cocky guy, and just a generally rude person who was never fun to be around. I’ve met quite a few great baseball players over time living in The Woodlands, TX (Drabek, Taillon, Goldschmidt, Eibner all came through here in their HS years) and his demeanor really stands out. The rest were humble, at least from the limited experience I had with them. I couldn’t tell you much about him from a scouting perspective, but character concerns are something that might come up looking at him.
