Rating last year's rookies-Community Prospect #6
With the victory of Desmond Jennings in round 5, the American League extends its winning streak to five in a row, not to mention that the leading candidate for round 6 based on last round's vote is also an American Leaguer.
1. Brett Lawrie, 3b Toronto Blue Jays (51%)
2, Eric Hosmer, 1b Kansas City Royals (57%)
3. Michael Pineda, P Seattle Mariners (38%)
4. Dustin Ackley, 2b Seattle Mariners (41%)
5. Desmond Jennings, of Tampa Bay Rays (47%)
The voting breakdown for the fifth round round after Jennings was: Jeremy Hellickson 24%, Freddie Freeman 11%, Mike Moustakas 4%, Brandon Belt 4%, Brandon Beachy 4%, Paul Goldschmidt 2%, Henderson Alvarez 2%, Wilson Ramos, Jordan Walden, Craig Kimbrel, Danny Espinosa and Ivan Nova all with 0%
I'm going to keep everyone who got a vote (including Alvarez and Beachy who were write in candidates last round but due to come onto the ballot in any event) and drop everyone who didn't get a vote. We'll rotate back in Aroldis Chapman, Dominic Brown and Jason Kipnis, leaving Luebke at the front of the line for round 7.
In rotation: Cory Luebke 0% (round 3), Jemile Weeks 0% (round 3), Chris Sale 0% (round 4), Kyle Drabek 0% (round 4), Mark Trumbo 0% (round 4), Zach Britton 0% (round 4), Wilson Ramos 0% (round 5), Jordan Walden 0% (round 5), Craig Kimbrel 0% (round 5), Danny Espinosa 0% (round 5). Ivan Nova 0% (round 5)
As mentioned above we'll give Henderson Alvarez and Brandon Beachy a first chance on the ballot this round. This leaves as testers for the upcoming rounds:
Danny Duffy, Vance Worley, Josh Collmenter, Kenley Jansen, Jose Altuve, Lucas Duda, Dayan Viciedo and Juan Nicasio.
As always voting is by +1 and there are places below to suggest testers or vote for players not currently on the ballot.
So who is your number 6 prospect for future performance among last year's rookies?

"We did a lot of good things last year, and now we've got Julio ... That does nothing but improve the offense, and we expect to do better. That's our goal, to lead the NFL in everything. Every offensive category." -Roddy White

other than the sub 7 K per 9 he was flawless
just because he k’d 5.5 per 9 . doesn’t mean he isn’t any good or not effective…he has to be more on his game than most, but the guy will be an ace or strong #2 for many many years.

+1 As far as pure performance from last year, what a year, both in the pen and rotation. The numbers are pretty glaring.
