Predict the BA Eastern League Top 20
Thought I'd give this a try myself. BA's eligibility rules, evidently, are at least 1 PA or 1/3 IP per game, and the EL played 142 games. So even tho Harper had only 129 ABs, he still is eligible, according to a tweet from Jim Callis, so he must have had >=142 PAs.
1 - B Harper
2 - J Turner
3 - T D'Arnaud
4 - M Harvey
5 - B Peacock
6 - M Banuelos
7 - D Betances
8 - A Gose
9 - W Middlebrooks
10 - S Marte
11 - J Benson
12 - R Lavarnway
13 - Au Romine
14 - E Surkamp
15 - L Hendriks
16 - R Havens
17 - J Familia
18 - C Chiang
19 - S Lombardozzi
20 - B Bundy/C Crosby
The talent level seems to drop off after first the 7-8 or so. Doesnt seem to be as much talent as in some other leagues. I probably overlooked a player or two and I'm sure BA will have some surprises for us as usual.

Sad, Drunk, And Poorly
My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we'll change the world. - JL
Yeah, it must be getting late...
because I looked all of these players to determine eligibility and I included Molina anyway even tho he pitched only 22 inn. I’ll remove him and, for lack of thinking of someone better, I’ll slide C Crosby onto the bottom of the list.
OK, thanx.
Evidently, I dont understand BA’s eligibility rules myself. Must be 1 PA for every league game instead of 1 AB. So, I’ll put Harper as #1 and slide everyone else down.

Oops forgot the
O’s OF LJ Hoes…. he should crack it i think…
and although i don’t like them the Phills Fredddy Galvis, and Mets Jordany Valdispin…. they’ll likely make it because its BA and they believe everyone who claims they’re 21 actually is 21 (Galvis just for example.)
also for pitching the Jay’s Chad Jenkins and Henderson Alvarez will be on there too, likely
maybe even the CHI Sox Zach Stewart but i wish guys that are now essentially entrenched into the big leagues wouldn’t make these lists, because they’re just too much fun

OF
He’s a bit old for the league but what about Josh Satin for the bottom half?
Seriously doubt it
We’ve already seen a 22 year old (Terdoslavich) and a 23 year old (Jensen) with ridiculous numbers get left off of their league top 20s, and Satin played the entire season as a 26 year old. Don’t get me wrong the performance was great and it helps prove he’s an actual prospect, just no one deserving of a spot on a league top 20.
can't see it
Nice year, but he is clearly a Grade C type prospect, can’t see BA putting a guy who is an inch and a half away from org fodder on a top 20.
