Mark Rogers?

He may have his issues, health and otherwise, but I think he should still be in the discussion of top-30 players in the system.

+1

I’d still call Rogers a C+. His 2010 season was promising, and if he regain that, I don’t see why he can’t be a good late inning guy

by gore51 on Oct 16, 2011 3:18 PM EDT up reply actions

that's fair

he’s obviously only has a fraction of the promise he once showed, but his arm is still pretty electric and I’d love to see how it works in short situations

Yeah, I think that you have to give him at least a C

Just based on the arm strength.

A very thin system

But I’m excited about Reed, Lopez, Bradley, and Peralta.

Go ahead, make my day.

Be honest.

Doesn’t it suck having to go through systems like the Brewers, A’s, and White Sox?

Not really, it's just a different kind of challenge

Evan Anundsen...

is another guy that might merit some consideration. Evidently, came back this year from some sort of major injury. He was pretty good in 2009 in Hi A and was age-appropriate. Had a so-so bounceback year at Hi A again this year, but might not have been all the way back yet from the injury. Probably another C player, but if you’re looking for some more names, he’s a suggestion.

De La Cruz

Isn’t “Frankie” De La Cruz just a rechristened version of Eulogio? If so, he’s probably a name you can cut as bad-bodied 28-year-old rightiess who can’t find home plate (and have shuttled to the majors unsuccessfully for four years) aren’t exactly the most riveting reading material. I’m assuming he’ll be a minor league free agent this winter anyway.

another list

these guys do a great job, updating the list about 6 times over the year.

Amaury Rivas?

I know he had an awful year in AAA, but it seems early to give up on him.

Now that's great tasting chicken!
