Rangers acquire Lee from Mariners for Smoak
| Rangers acquired LHP Cliff Lee, RHP Mark Lowe and cash from the Mariners for 1B Justin Smoak, RHP Blake Beavan, LHP Josh Lueke and 2B Matt Lawson. The Rangers just transformed themselves into legitimate candidates to reach the World Series with Lee at the front of their rotation. Still, it’s a high price to pay for a team with a pretty shaky foundation. Lee could make his Texas debut Saturday. The switch to one of the game’s most hitter friendly ballparks won’t help his fantasy value, but with the way he’s throwing lately, he could probably pitch shutouts on the moon. This is according to Rotoworld. |

Your sassy little comment wasn't necessary...
there are 3 threads, but none state what has really occurred.

Shutouts On the Moon Huh?
They’ve obviously never heard of Isaac Newton, dumb asses.
Same guy, new name.
A steal for SEA
Aumont, Gillies and Ramirez for Smoak, Lueke and Lawson.
The Dodgers won't win a playoff series until the Cool-a-Coo returns.
I would have
Taken Mazzaro for Lee straight up
