Post Their Peaks (Moose, Hoz, Myers)
Moustakas -- .320, 45 dbl, 40 hr, 130 rbi, 60 bb
Hosmer - .340, 50 dbl, 30 hr, 110 rbi, 100 bb
Myers - .325, 50 dbls, 30 hr, 120 rbi's, 80 bb
Toss in Butler and Gordon, and possibly Colon, and Robinson and you have a potentially great 1-7 -- and you have many of the top pitching prospects in baseball with Montgomery, Crow, Melville Dwyer, Duffy, Sample, and Lamb. Honestly within about 5 years i could see KC winning divisions, and contending for them regulary. I hope so, because those fans have certainly waited long enough to see a good team.

i really think those 3 guys are going to be special hitters. and remember, those #‘s are not what i think they’ll put up per annum, those predictions are what i think their best years will be.
and JPA = .290, 40 ddles, 35 hr, 110 rbi, 50 bb
Alfamale = time-traveled from 1998
Here’s a spoiler: THEY WERE ALL ON STEROIDS

If those turn out to be their peaks we’re talking like… 6 or 7 titles. That’s >>> 1927 Yankees.

Re:
You realize that there have been less than 20 seasons ever where a guy has hit 45 2B and 40 HR. Like 95% of the guys that have done it are in the Hall (or will be eventually).

0 CS, 15 triples, 0 errors, 2 MVPs (in the same season), 5 babies rescued from a fire, 1 nobel peace price, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I'll do average year instead of peak
Moustakas: .260-270, 30-35 HR, 100 RBI (somewhat comparable to Troy Glaus numbers wise)
Hosmer: .290-.300, 30 HR, 110 RBI (comparable to Justin Morneau, maybe Joey Votto)
Myers: .290-.300, 25 HR, 90 RBI (comparable to Brian McCann but right handed hitting)
Anything could happen, though.
i could see all this
i’ll say, I think Hosmer could hit for a randomly high average at points during his career. doesn’t K much, isn’t real slow, and has power.

I don't see the Troy Glaus comparison for Moustakas
He doesn’t walk nearly as much and he’s been making more contact than Glaus. You think that profile will change when he reaches the majors? His body looks Glaus-like, but I’m not sure he’s all that comparable as a hitter.
Glaus Comparison
I was mostly talking about the high power, low average combo with the comparison.
There haven’t been too many third basemen with 30+ HR power and .260-ish averages. I’d guess Glaus is kinda the natural comparison for Moustakas type 3rd base prospects.
And the funny thing is that Glaus hit .307 in 407 ABs in his one season in the minors. He looked like he’d be more of the player we saw in 2000(.284, 47 HR) than the player we saw the next two years(.250 average both years).
Moustakas
is more Longoria than Glaus

How's that?
Moustakas might be a worse defender than either (Longoria is or Glaus was briefly before the injuries).

Glaus has played good defense at times
but overall, its not because he had an impressive arm or good range, he managed to stay at 3B because he was sure-handed. Hopefully Moustakas is better than -6.3 / 150, especially in his early/best defensive years (I doubt he has years that bad)

Apparently
While Aaron Crow and Mike Montgomery both win 20+ games with an ERA under 2.50.

to be clear
Did you mean that each stat is a players individual high across all years? Or did you project each line as coming in one season?
Number of players in 2009 with 50 doubles: two. Number with 45: eight.
And Billy Butler had 51. Congrats, you’re in for a treat!
eh
That is extreme compared to his extreme predictions. I think 250 IP, 325K, 2.00 ERA, .95 WHIP is about right in line with the ones above.

This seems likely
given the three best hitters in baseball will be in the other league
