Michael Stanton Debut: Projections
Although not carrying the same level of anticipation as Stephen Strasburg, the best hitting prospect in baseball is also making his debut tonight in Philadelphia. Mike Stanton will be hitting 7th in between Cody Ross and Ronny Paulino, with Kyle Kendrick on the mound for the Phillies. It's definitely a great park to debut in for a homerun hitter, that's for sure. It will be interesting to see if he goes up there hacking or tries to see a few pitches before he tries to park one out of the stadium.
Here is my projection:
2/4, HR, BB, K
