Best rotation/setup/closer prospect groups
I thought it would be interesting to see what people who know more than I do think is the best collection of a five man rotation, setup, and closer prospects in a single organization is. By this I mean if you could take the third year in the bigs of each of the prospects chosen and magically make them all happen in the same year and by doing that determine what group from one organization would make up the best group of seven pitchers.
Just to start off I offer up this group from Atlanta after the jump. I think you may be able to find a few better groups but I can't think of many.

Mike Minor LHP

SU Mike Dunn LHP

Pitching staff using Rangers prospects pitching in the upper minors
The Rangers’ AA and AAA teams provide the following candidates:
Martin Perez (LHP) – 92-96 MPH fastball, potentially plus curveball and change-up
Tanner Scheppers (RHP) – 93-99 MPH fastball, plus curveball, above average slider
Danny Gutierrez (RHP) – 90-96 MPH fastball, plus curveball (scouting report here)
Omar Beltre (RHP) – 93-95 MPH fastball, slider, splitter
Michael Kirkman (LHP) – 90-94 MPH fastball, 88-92 MPH cutter, above average slider, curveball, change-up (Spring Training discussion here)
Alexi Ogando (CL) – 93-99 MPH fastball, potentially plus slider, splitter (scouting report here)
Pedro Strop (SU) – 93-97 MPH fastball, potentially plus slider and splitter (scouting report here)
Blake Beavan, Guillermo Moscoso, and Josh Lueke provide depth for the rotation and bullpen.
What's the word on Kirkman?
He was gangbusters in his first six starts and in his last four the walks and XBHs are suddenly way, way up.
Kirkman
Lefty who throws hard. His slider and curveball are solid-average pitches. Recently added a cutter and needs to improve his change-up.
Struggled with control and injuries early in his career. Showed signs in 2008. Broke out in the Cal League in 2009 at the age of 22. One of the more impressive young pitchers in spring training who landed a spot in the Rangers’ AAA rotation. If he improves his command and consistency, he could be a very solid major league starting pitcher. If command remains an issue, he could still slot as a decent reliever.
Thanks
I’m actually pretty familair with his resume. Was more wondering if you had any dope on his recent run of mediocre starts, now including yesterday’s bittersweet outing: 10 hits in 4.2 IP but with an 8:1 K:BB. Bizarre.
