More Sleepers!
Here are five more off the pre-season list, bringing us to the end of the "Gs"
Enerio del Rosario, RHP, Cincinnati Reds: Unheralded reliever, 2.52 ERA with 17/5 K/BB in 25 innings for Triple-A Louisville, has pitched 8.2 innings for the Reds, giving up 13 hits and four walks but just two earned runs. I count this as a success since he's made the majors.
Vincent DiFazio, C, Texas Rangers: Hitting .252/.361/.495 for Hickory in the Sally League. Good power, draws walks, batting average low, currently on the disabled list.
Jeurys Familia, RHP, New York Mets: 6.91 ERA with 42/29 K/BB in 43 innings, 46 hits for High-A St. Lucie. Other than the strikeouts and a 1.87 GO/AO, he's been horrible. Apparently I should not rate Mets prospects as sleepers.
Cory Gearrin, RHP, Atlanta Braves: 3.93 ERA with 31/20 K/BB in 34 innings for Triple-A Gwinnet, lots of grounders with 3.12 GO/AO. Would like to see walks come down.
Miguel Gonzalez, C, Chicago White Sox: Hitting .215/.256/.316 in 44 games for Low-A Kannapolis. Undone by poor plate discipline, 8/35 BB/K in 158 at-bats. Has thrown out 48% of runners, so at least his defense has been good.

Is Familia starting?
Proud father of Mike Krukow (who is more than 3 times my age)
Grab Some Pine, Meat
Still cheering for Kevin Frandsen
John Bowker: One of the 3 best OF's on the Giants roster
I think I'd move him to the pen
IIRC it was reported that he hit 102 with his FB. He seems to have the stuff for a late inning reliever.

Familia....
I posted this in the other thread about Allen, but Familia’s problems seem to be a system wide thing. He’s not even the worst offender, with Holt being even worse. Some are battling through it, but every arm in the system has taken a major step back command wise overall…
The coaches are saying these guys are not trusting their stuff, which makes sense. It’s almost July though, and it’s always a step forward and two steps back. Like I said, maybe some of them are overrated or not very good, but it’s quite disappointing and concerning…
