Jordan Parraz: 5-6, 4 doubles, HR ………. i ranked him higher than anyone else (#11) so i was disappointed by his slow start, but he’s turned it on in May batting .373 w/ 11 walks and 10 extra base hits. hopefully he keeps it up. don’t think he profiles as a upper level player but as an average regular in RF, i could see that. one hell of an arm, too. made one of the best throws to home I’ve ever seen a few weeks ago. Emil Brown had some good years in KC, I could see that kind of offense.
Louis Coleman: 3 ip, 2 h, 0 r, 0 bb, 2 k ……. been pitching well lately, big fan. CWS star last year @ LSU. already in AA and could be in majors this year.

Im very curious if he develops some serious gap power, just how many 2B could turn into 3B

turn around
I think that the end of 2009 was a sign of things to come. He has had crap luck, and to some extent prolly not the hardest work ethic. But there is no getting around his talent or his swing.

the load and initiation of swing look like Upton
but the rest doesn’t. But this is also coming from a resident-moron regarding swing (and pitching for that matter) mechanics, as most of us are. I would probably say that maybe 2 or 3 people on this board have the knowledge to actually get something credible out of analyzing swing mechanics, the rest is just speculation.

Strasburg
Ugh…Strasburg has had his start postponed. There goes my night….
Last night...
Aaron Miller pitched late and went 7IP 4HA 1ER 1BB 7K’s…some fly-ball tendencies, but seems to be flying under the radar a little—especially considering the not-so-great starts by some of the higher rated dodger arms and the hitters park he plays in. I like him, and am excited to see him in AA later this year.
Love this kid
I invested heavily in him in my various fantasy leagues this year, I think he could be really good for the Dodgers in a couple of years.

Colome
First time seeing him pitch, has a pretty free & easy delivery for someone who tosses mid 90’s. So far 1IP 1H (bloop single behind the 3b/ss) 0ER 0BB 1K (on a pretty nasty breaking ball)
1-2-3 2nd inning, w/ 1K & 2 weak GO's
Funny thing the announcers are talking about, the OF’s already put a good shift on the hitters as they don’t think anyone can pull the ball on Colome. He is pretty much breezing through the line up so far, only guy to give him a battle was Jerry Sands. They’ve been saying sitting 94mph and hitting 96.
4IP 2H 1R 0ER 1BB 4K
Control waivered a bit in the 4th, mostly just missing down though. Hit 96/97mph that inning, every now and then throws some type of pitch that comes in around 89mph not really sure what it is as it doesn’t have much break. His big curve comes in around 78-80mph and has nice break on it.
Final Line
6IP 3H 1R 0ER 1BB 6K
Basically wasn’t challenged all game, I know the Rays take it slow esp early on with arms … but I think this guy is an exception.
Season: 45.2IP 29H 13BB 47K
When I saw him
I thought he was mixing a cutter in there every so often, but I could be wrong. He also threw something once that I swear was an eephus (and he got a strikeout looking with it).

Neal, Mesoraco, Soto are from actual games. Hoes was from an actual game as well.

My favorite Indians Prospect:
Rob Bryson:
17 IP
14 H (3 HR, which is troubling)
3 BB
29 K
And this after missing almost all of last year after shoulder surgery. He’s still only 22 and I think he’s a real sleeper as a back-end bullpen guy.

Would be pretty cool if Diamond succeeds in any capacity. I loved the Danks-Volquez-Diamond trio with TEX.

Is a better comparison. Except Clemens is probably pretty mediocre in the outfield, but looks be an average or better first baseman.

Josh Thole
Mets prospect catcher Josh Thole left Tuesday’s game for Triple-A Buffalo after tripping on a bat.
The injury occurred while Thole was playing defense in the 11th inning. As of now, there’s no word on the severity or the nature of the injury. Stay tuned. Thole, 23, entered Tuesday’s action with a lousy .184/.247/.299 batting line over 87 at-bats with Triple-A Buffalo.
He was also seen crying in the dugout afterwards. TMZ reports that there’s no chance of a reconciliation with his ex.
Yonder ! !
Went 2-6 with a bomb and a walk – won’t mention he drove in a run with that HR because RBIs offend people.
He’s hitting .370 in AAA andf wants to join the REDS party very soon- looks fun up there!

boy, Salty sure can hit
maybe Texas can go with a 2 man outfield, and set another player to stand next to Salty to throw the ball back to the pitcher in between outs?
Adoptive parent of Kyle Nicholson
is "he" Salty?
If so, not until he gets these defensive kinks worked out I’d imagine. And it’s not like Maxi Ramirez is really struggling right now for Texas as a bat-first catcher.
And Kinslerhomer/T-Ball, as always, feel free to correct me if I am mistaken.
Adoptive parent of Kyle Nicholson
Salty has the yips
and is having great difficulty throwing back to the pitcher, so there’s no telling when the team will be confident he’s ready to come back up. I would be less surprised if the team traded for a starting catcher soon than if Salty comes back up.

Stephen Parker, 3B, Stockton (OAK)
Is he a prospect? Looking solid so far…
.300/.420/.521…22 R, 8 2B, 7 HR, 25 RBI, 30 BB, 25 K
He’s obviously old for high-A (23), but he’s got some hitting potential. Possible Kila Ka’aihue type?
"You seen my cell phone?" "What’s it look like?" "Like two horses f***ing. It’s a phone, son. It looks like a phone."
What is with Kody Hinze
And why is he still at low A.
He had another 2 HR game, he has hit 12 homers this season.
