Carlos Santana injured
Fouled a ball of his left leg and immediately collapsed to the ground. He had to be helped off the field by his teammates and is obviously out of the game. No word yet on how severe it is. Hopefully it's just a bruise of something that will only keep him out of action for a short period of time.
It gets even tougher being an Indians fan. Let's all keep our fingers crossed.

The latest...
Unfortunately for Crosby, his season at Lakeland hasn’t gotten started quite yet — a bone bruise was discovered in his reconstructed left elbow just before his first start about two weeks ago. He is projected to return to mound in about three weeks.

You ever hit a ball off your shin (I'm assuming he didn't foul it off his thigh)?
It’s incredibly painful. I don’t care if you’re the hulk, when hit in the shin with something that fast, one can’t help but morph into a 6 year old girl. I’m hoping he’ll be fine. However, if he’s not, then perhaps we need to finally accept Dewey as a witch.
You’re name has 2k9 in it — what are you some 8 year-old who makes Pillsbury Doughboy cookies and jerks off to that bullshit video game with Tim Lincecum on the cover--

There's some kind of nerve on the front of the shin which is really easy to trigger
and incredibly painful. Happens a lot in soccer games.
[Of course, so does people faking that injury to draw a foul call…]
Shawn Spencer: Ahoy there! Um, yes. Right! My name is Shawn Spencer! This is my first mate Hummingbird Saltalamacchia!
Burton Guster: Hello!
Shawn Spencer: We were turned around-- discombobulated! We... we just now realized we're in restricted waters.
Burton Guster: Just now! And we both have hepatitis!
Of course he would
because it would have been hit with so little force he’d hardly notice it touched him.

- Santana looks to be okay, he’s limping but he is day to day and not seriously hurt. X-rays not even taken, so a great sign 20 minutes ago
