Minor League Ball Fantasy League Owner List

The Minor League Ball Fantasy League

We had over 60 people wanting to get into the 2010 Minor League Ball Fantasy League. With this level of interest, I thought it would be best to expand the league from the original 12 teams to 24, so that as many people as possible can participate. It was easy to re-set the league parameters due to the customization adaptability of the CBSSports.com League software.
The league will be divided into two divisions of 12 teams each, the Satchel Paige Division and the Bob Feller Division, to honor the famous 1946 barnstorming tour between the Paige and Feller All-Stars.

Star-divide

Here is a list of people selected to join the league. Please don't be offended if your entry wasn't accepted. There simply wasn't room to include every worthy entry, so I tried to find a balance of people with different backgrounds, experience and interests.

If you are on the list, please email me at JASickels@aol.com , using your Minor League Ball/SB Nation username in the header of the email. Please give me your team name, VALID email address, and the owner name you want listed. Feel free to ask me any questions. I will be posting a summary of the league rules and deadlines later this week.

Wow

Nothing against John, but you have over 3500 posts on this site. I would have thought everyone that has 1000+ posts here and wanted to be in the league would have without a doubt gotten in.

Jar, Daveh, Journeymen

Three of the most capable candidates I know.

Thanks

Thanks for the invite. And anytime you need a translation of a Latin text on medieval bat-and-ball games (more like cricket than baseball), I’m your man!

Glad to see my suggestion of 24 teams was taken

Just disappointed I wasn’t one of the 24.

Good luck to the chosen ones.

Appreciate the invite, sure to be competitive.

Humbled

… I’m no freakin’ genius, I only know what I read in the papers, and being a 50-plus-year-old student teacher is not gonna do my draft list any good.

But I will call out any Vulcan who is annoyingly condescending. And I will set an alert to let me know when Buck Bokai’s arbitration clock starts running.

Sweet

Thanks for the invite John. Can’t wait for the league rules so i can start getting my cheat sheets together.
