Gauging Interest
Do NOT jump to any conclusions about this, but I want to gauge interest on something.
If I was to do something like a weekly podcast, how many of you would listen in?

I think it would be sweet
especially if you could get some sort of call in aspect, or at least answer some questions from the site every week.
Most Def
I would assume it would not duplicate the blog but yes it certainly interests me
I'd listen
I would be very interested in gaining some more knowledge on the prospects.
McShay, Todd McShay you hear me boy? It's me TJ and I'm coming for your damn job boy! Oh be scared, be very scared McShay.
Yes...
…but only if it’s going to be totally in addition to the blog stuff. If you only have time for one or the other, stick with the blogging.
Probably
It would probably depend on how good is the podcast. Being from Canada, I have never heard or seen your material, and rely on your written analysis. If you project orally, as good as you do with the written word, then I would listen. If not, then I would pass.
Regardless I think it would be a great idea and would give you an opportunity to discuss certain prospects more in depth. You could even do podcast themes such as:
1. Answering your questions
2. Draft preview edition
3. Biggest flops

KBR, youre from canada?!
That explain everything! :)
You’re name has 2k9 in it — what are you some 8 year-old who makes Pillsbury Doughboy cookies and jerks off to that bullshit video game with Tim Lincecum on the cover--

Your thoughts
For the most part, the only reason we’re all here is to read your thoughts and soak in your knowledge of the game and players. Most of us have little to no involvement with professional baseball except as spectators, and it seems that neither do you really. So while you’re a lot like us, you still have more contacts, experience and understanding than we do.
My vote is yes, of course, but I probably won’t be able to listen at any specific time. I don’t know how “podcast” is defined, but It would have to be something I can listen to anytime after you make it, and perhaps download.
iTunes
I would if it was available for download via iTunes.

Yes, but only
If you explain to Wesleyan University why due to no longer doing anything but listen, my gpa dropped a full point after you began doing podcasts

Most definitely would listen
I already listen regularly to “Prospect Tuesdays” on Fantasy Focus (or whatever it is called now).
Some Ideas
John, I’d very much be interested in a Podcast, not only to hear your thoughts on prospects, but also guests.
If you could pull some other industry insiders for weekly discussions, from BA, BP, ESPN, or scouts, to go hand in hand with your own analysis, I would LOVE that.
I like this idea
It would also be interesting to have some of the more controversial members of the site face off (i.e. Dewey vs Paul Thomas).

Podcast and Time
I have heard a few state that a lack of time may cause them not to listen. If the podcasts were available to download as an MP3 they would be great to listen to during a commute. I have downloaded many fantasy baseball podcast shows and listened to them during a commute, or even at my desk at work shhhhhh LOL
Very intriguing idea John...
I think that this would really allow you to expand your empire; reach a greater audience…I love listening to Podcasts (Baseball & Star Trek – btw, “Trekcast” is a lot of fun) while commuting/travelling…there are so many ideas that are difficult to convey on “paper” or don’t necessarily fit into written content; also, if you Podcast with someone, then you have that ability to create on the fly, listeners can hear your passion, all very cool…you have a level of control over what you want to say and thoughts aren’t derailed (as in some “postings”) by others’ with negative agenda’s…but please, use equipment that is professional (i.e. stable sound levels, etc)…Awesome idea, Good Luck if you choose to go down this path!
Facebook Page
A Facebook page would provide great exposure and also provide a mechanism for folks to propose questions and also a place where John could post weekly topics
