yes

Pitchers are riskier than hitters and you have a hole at 2B. You should definitely do it,

yes, you have too many left handers....

Seriously, based on your depth Beckham is a nice return for at best, your 4th starter.

right

normally, id say its a very even deal but, with your SP depth and hole at 2b (Lopez doesn’t have a job yet, i dont believe), its a good deal.

True, however

I’ve been looking at calling up Espinosa to play 2B as a possibility as well.

What are your thoughts on Espy’s stat line in 2011?

Doesn't matter what Espinosa does.....

It still looks easier for you to bring up Holland to replace Sanchez!

you mean chacin right?

I heard Tim Lincecum will win 1 Cy Young & 11 Tim Lincecums. Question is, how many Cole Hamels will he win?

Holland over Chacin to bring up?

was off the top of my head but now that I’ve looked at Chacin’s numbers I’d probably agree with you. Chacin did have 14 unearned runs to sweeten that ERA but his numbers (and stuff?) still look better.
nice problem to have eh

Tough question

I like Espinosa but, It wouldn’t shock me if he hit .225 or something. I’d venture he’s prtobably a better real life player than a fantasy one next season. He does have some power and speed though

Taking a guess.228 12 homers 22 steals, starts at 2b and SS.

Yes

I think Gordon Beckham helps your team more than Jonathan Sanchez.

Yes

I think Sanchez could be volatile going forward due to his command issues and Beckham is a decent bet to bounceback IMO.

Yes

I would take Beckham over Sanchez anyday really. Last I knew Sanchez still has control problems and Beckham should definitely bounce back…I still really like his upside a lot!

by MILBGM on Dec 23, 2010 6:44 AM EST reply actions

yes

Definately do it, you have pitching depth and a huge hole at 2b

by srbaseball2003 on Dec 23, 2010 10:24 AM EST reply actions

Yes,

on an unrelated note, I’d trade Buchholz to somebody who will overvalue his 2010 season. He was good, but massively outperformed his peripherals. There’s a great chance he has a better 2011 season but sees both his ERA and WHIP rise.

also

Neil Walker is a possibility…although I like him less than Beckham. Would anyone still deal Sanchez if the return was Walker or does that make it sour?

by smk1363 on Dec 23, 2010 12:50 PM EST via mobile reply actions

i'd take beckham and his..

upside anyday over what walker can do for you.

by srbaseball2003 on Dec 23, 2010 2:51 PM EST up reply actions

sour

you’d be getting had if you did that.
