Home
I am finally home from a grueling Arizona Fall League trip. Normal blogging will resume tomorrow, and I will have some AFL stuff for you as well as starting up the Top 20s again. The rest of November will be very cool. Thanks for your patience while I was on the road.

Thanks for the interesting material… I look forward to seeing the Gigantes top 20.
Psycho killer, qu'est-ce que c'est?

Can’t wait to read John’s thoughts on our future, which all of a sudden looks awesome.
Is Belt a B+?

Agreed
When you combine that with his athleticism and great k/bb ratio it is hard not to put him at least as an A-.

It's not that hard to imagine...
He’s a first baseman. Your bat has to be spectacular to be a star-level first baseman. Belt’s bat will be good, but spectacular? We’ll see if he has the power to be spectacular.

Yeah, I wouldn't say it's hard not to make him an A-
There are certainly reasons to do so, but we’re still talking about a first baseman that wasn’t considered very special coming into the season. Overhauled swing mechanics and dominant performance have certainly changed the tune on Belt, but an A- is still a bullish grade on some levels.
Baseball is my preferred sport. It should be yours, too.

I've never understood why that is a rule in english
Other languages employ double negatives.
http://bullpenbanter.com/
According to Wikipedia*:
" In most logics and some languages, double negatives cancel one another and produce an affirmative sense; in other languages, doubled negatives intensify the negation"
Hasta tu suenos.
Interesting that some languages use it to intensify the negation
I’ve always looked at like multiplying negatives.
