I've been offered Anthony Gose for my Jarred Cosart. I know it's apples/oranges, but it's close to me so I figured I'd see what you guys all thought.
I love the upside of both Gose and Cosart, but Cosart's injury problems have concerned me recently.

Thanks for the votes,
but would really love some qualitative data here.
Please comment if possible.
Gose
Gose can give you the ever-important steals, Cossart has injury concerns. That’s really all it came down to for me. For fantasy, it’s Gose easy. Real life, give me Cossart
-1 and only member of the Nick Weglarz fan club!
IAWTC
Also, for what it’s worth, I like your current MiLB arms crop much more than your current MiLB bats crop.

Apparently there's an epilepsy warning on this video. But it's so incredibly cool.

ummmm
i don’t really like your minor league roster at all. I picked Cossart because of the offensive upside that I think your team needs in the Majors. Having Ortiz as your 1B is a bit, well, blah.

Pretty much a push
Cosart’s pure upside is higher and much of Gose’s prospect status is D, but, taking a look at your roster, I think I might very slightly lean Gose still since I assume by your designation of the starter positions your league does distinguish between the individual OF spots. That being the case, Gose would fit you well as a successor to Pagan/ Sizemore, and it does help him that this league won’t penalize for his Ks. Pitching prospects tend to be much more fungible than hitters as well, so Cosart’s injury questions and the above are just enough to make me think Gose here. Could easily make a good case the other way though; it’s a fair trade either way and no wrong answer to it.
