Since you've called me out for inferring this before:
He’ll get the chance to make their rotation out of spring training, though it’s more realistic to expect him to open the season at Triple-A Charlotte.

I believe I called it the plan

I thought I saw/heard it explicated that way around the time he was signed, but couldn’t find a link backing me up. I was just pointing out that it does indeed seem to be the way they will handle Sale.

I noticed that

They ranked him as their number 2 prospect last year and expected catcher in 2013. Awful season. But kind of similar to what napoli put up in AAA (in a tiny sample, but nevertheless, and while I don’t think that good an outcome can be expected, he still seems like he could end up useful).

Thompson

he seems way too low to me…at the very least, he has to be ahead of someone like Short who profiles as nothing more than a 4th OF…while the Stanton comps are a bit rich, Thompson made some nice strides this year before his hand injury, showing plus power and an improved approach at the plate (though the Ks are still too high)…i think he could break out in a big way next season if healthy

he arguably

should be as high as 6, if not 5.

I'd put him at 6

I really like Petricka.

I know many see him as a future reliever but his curve is 50 with definite 55 potential, and he has a workable changeup. More importantly, he holds his mid-90s velocity late into games with no problem whatsoever.

I think he’s a bigtime breakout candidate when he spends all of next year in the rotation.

I'm a fan too.

He seems like one of those raw college hard throwers that seems bound to break out.

ouch

That’s not a pretty top 10.

I think Mitchell should be higher.

Don’t see Morel or Viciedo having the patience (lolcats level in both cases) or gloves to make their hitting more valuable than Mitchell’s tools and position.

Apparently there's an epilepsy warning on this video. But it's so incredibly cool.

I like Morel

And I think he’s going to be a solid third baseman, but I agree, I’d have Mitchell at #2.

Santos Rodriguez

Disappointed he didn’t make the top 10, but he’s a guy with a mid to high 90’s velocity, a solid slider, and a 6’6 190 lb frame that could definitely hold quite a bit more muscle. Plus he’s a lefty.

Also, Morel At Shortstop

From the chat, they said that scouts were amazed in a surprising way with Morel when he played SS.

Finally

Nathan Jones seems like a late bloomer. Got the best curve in the system, along with a mid 90’s fastball. He had control problems early that he seems to be overcoming, and he could bust out huge.
