Based on last round's voting I am going to permanently drop Peter Boujos (who got one vote) and John Axford, Josh Thole and Alcides Escobar all of whom got no votes last round. I am going to bring back Jake Arieta and Gaby Sanchez this round and for the first time add Brandon Allen and Sergio Santos. Drew Storen, Carlos Carassco and Danny Valencia were all write ins last round but showed enough strength to keep them on the ballot.
Temporarily dropped players: Mitch Moreland 2% (23), Jonny Venters 2% (23), Ian Desmond 1% (24)
Permanently dropped players: Michael Brantley 0% 23, Andrew Cashner 0% 23. Brennan Boesch 0% (24), Brett Wallace 0% (24), Alexi Ogando 0% (24), Peter Bourjos 2% (25), Alcides Escobar 0% (25), Josh Thole 0% (25), John Axford 0% (25)
In (final) round 27 I am going to add the three temporarily dropped players along with 1 to 2 from among Chris Johnson, Brooks Conrad, Alex Sanabia and Wilton Lopez.. If you have any preferences among them or if you want anyone else added instead, please discuss below. Obviously you shouldn't propose adding anyone at this point, unless, at a minimum you are prepared to vote for them yourself.
As a reminder voting is by +1.

"We have gotten to the point where not only big market clubs are going over slot, but small market clubs are going over slot, and they see it as a competitive advantage. I don’t think we can be left behind in that regard. I think that we've got to be open minded about it, and we intend to be." - Sandy Alderson

I was about to reply that he isn't eligible....
but checking his records he was up for just about 60 day prior to September 1, which means his rookie status expired in 2009, even though he only got 104 at bats. I knew he hadn’t been up previously and forgot he had been up quite that long and consequently overlooked him as being eligible. I’m not sure he would have won a poll yet, but I definitely would have gotten him on a lot earlier. My apologies for missing this on a poll that has otherwise run very smoothly.
well, i didn't have a problem with it because i wouldn't have voted for him until now.
sounds like that was the case for other people, as well. i wouldn’t worry about it.
Wallace
Not sure I’d vote for him here, mainly because Jaso’s position value would rank him higher, but I listened to two fairly well respected prospect guys both say what they saw from Wallace this season still said good regular, though he’s lost the “future all star” look to him. I’d wager that a number of years there wouldn’t be a “good regular” permanently dropped from the poll for its final rounds.
