Help with Keeper League trade
I have been offered a choice of two of the following four players for Domonic Brown: Alexei Ramirez, Freddie Freeman, Torii Hunter, and Kurt Suzuki. I have a hole at 1B and SS right now, but I'm not so sure I want to give up Dom Brown. This is a league in which we keep up to 15 players each year.
What would you do? I'm kinda going back and forth here. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Stay put
I wouldn’t take any combo of those 4 guys if I had to give up Dom.
Alexei & Freeman would be the top 2, but I would rather have Brown.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again.
+1
you have the whole off season, I;d start looking elsewhere

I'd trade Brown for Alexei and Freeman
But then again, I’m not convinced that Brown is going to be a star, so if you are then that should probably change your opinion
how many teams are in the league is kind of important.
the bigger it is, the more likely I am to deal for Alexei. Can you counter or is it take it or leave it? What does your OF look like too?

14 team league
start: 1 catcher, 1 1b, 1 2b, 1 3b, 1 ss, 3 OF, 1 U.
My OF currently is Matt Kemp, Alex Rios, Vernon Wells, Logan Morrison, Michael Bourn, Denard Span, Domonic Brown. Not sure who to keep, prob can only keep 4 maybe 5.
I don’t have a catcher that I am keeping, my 1b last year was James Loney (who’s stats have actually digressed over the years) and prob won’t keep him.
At SS I have Asdrubal Cabrera and Danny Espinosa, not sure if I am keeping either…should I keep Asdrubal? Would you take him over Alexei?
At 2b I have Dustin Pedroia, and 3b have Mark Reynolds.

Id offer Wells or Rios for Alexei
see if you can cash in on the big years they had.

Depending on the health reports
I’d take Cabrera over Alexei. Alexei is very much like Kelly Johnson in that he’ll carry your team when he’s hot, but when he’s cold, he’ll absolutely eat your team alive.

And when exactly was Alexei team killing cold?

For fantasy
April 2010: .221, 5 R, 1 HR, 8 RBI, 1 SB
April 2009: .214, 6 R, 1 HR, 9 RBI, 5 SB
April 2008: .121, 1 R, 0 HR, 2 RBI, 0 SB
That’s just the monthly numbers. I have owned Alexei since 2008 in a head-to-head keeper league, and he is always a keeper in the end, but especially in a head-to-head he loses value because he puts up a lot of .100 weeks that can really swing a week’s numbers for you.

I'd keep brown. why don't you just make a waiver pick up of a Freeman-type later on?
