Dynasty League Trade- How'd I do?

I took over a very poor team roundabout May, and I sold off a lot of players I had (the best of which was Ricky Romero) for prospects to build a solid foundation and clear some cap room. Now I have 90 million in free cap room, a farm that includes Moustakas, Lyles, Mejia, Revere, S. Castro and others. I just made another deal that involved one of my better prospects, Kyle Drabek. I love Drabek (I live in The Woodlands, TX where he played his HS ball so I had been following him for awhile), but I saw an opportunity to sell high on him and I think I did a good job, what do you think?

I gave- Kyle Drabek, Wade LeBlanc

I got- Zach Britton, Eric Thames

Seeing as Britton is often graded higher than Drabek and I don't see much in LeBlanc, I think I did well. Thoughts?

A lot of Britton's value is in getting grounders

Not sure if that’s huge in fantasy. Drabek’s bat-missing abilities may have been much preferable.

Apparently there's an epilepsy warning on this video. But it's so incredibly cool.

Skillset doesn't make *that* big of a difference

K’s are a bonus, but if Britton has superior WHIP and ERA he’s still more valuable. K’s can be found cheap in fantasy, whether through mediocre starters like bud norris that rack up Ks but cant do much else, or a bunch of relievers, etc.

+1

It’s not a huge margin, but TOR’s defense is preferable to BAL’s, and Britton will need his defense more than Drabek will.

Even for me

Drabek does have good bat missing ability but I think he will settle in as a guy who if he can pitch 200ip k around 165 guys with a 3.5-4.5 era in toronto.

Britton I compare to brandon webb, he is a great sinker ball pitcher who could be a workhorse. I think he could be a guy who pitches 220ip a year while k’ing around 175-185 guys with a 3.0-3.5 era. Thats just my opinion, both of these guys pitch in a remarkable hitters division which makes things tough, but you have to go with the ground ball pitcher who can be a work horse and still get good k numbers. For my money I take the britton side, and I like thames better then leblanc

Also worth mentioning

This league runs on a points system, and anyone who plays points leagues know that IP are a big component of how pitchers score.
