I am now working on the Cleveland Indians, to be followed by the Florida Marlins and then the Seattle Mariners.
Use this thread to discuss the Marlins system.

Stanton
I’m not as high on Stanton as most. There’s no denying the power, but there’s also no denying the contact issues, and I think the latter are going to eat him alive. For some reason he reminds me of Jason Stokes.

I’m curious where Kyle Skipworth ends up. He’s young, he’s a catcher which is a tough position defensively, but flirting with the Mendoza line is not where you want a highly touted prospect to be.
Me too
It is pretty staggering how much discord there has been between his pre-draft scouting reports and the putridity of his performance thus far.
gotta be a C, doesn't he?
He was drafted as a hit-first catcher who doesn’t give much of an indication that he has any kind of a clue out there. Still not good defensively either. Basically a one tool guy.
Ryan Tucker
Pretty much a completely lost year. BA looks like they merely gave him a bit of a mulligan, while the rest of the world seems to have forgotten his existence. I assume he’s probably pretty likely to end up in relief at this point, which is a shame because he really seemed to makes some strides while starting in 08.
