I guess everyone has a couple players that don't have the stats, but you like them anyway...I call them "reaches".
For me, it's Tyler Robertson and Jordan Danks. I understand why they don't get the attention of others, you can look at each of their stats and find "holes". What I don't quite get is why Danks with his mediocre stats gets at least some pub, but Robertson has fallen into virtual non-existence.
Maybe it's Dank's name or because he plays in a bigger market or because he has great defensive tools. I just look at Robertson and see a guy who is a lefty, has pitched well at each level, and is still young. I mean, Bromberg had a good year and moved to the top ten of the Twins organization while Roberston is continually forgotten.
Anybody with thoughts on these two guys (positve or negative) or guys with their own "reaches" are welcome to respond.
