Lets talk about these guys

I have a few guys that I am interested in where they will be ranked on average in there individual organazations, and what type of prospects they are

1B Ryan Wheeler(Dbacks) is he a legit prospect or a guy who was at to low a level? I love his k/bb ratio

3B(for now) Edinson Rincon. Seems like he gets raves as a hitter but is a butcher at 3b. is he bat good enough for 1b/OF?

SS Lance Zawadski(sp) is he in Pads plans or an overachiever type? SP Wynn Pelzer...I have heard RP for future  C Josh Donaldson..Is he a legit C prospect? I keep thinking he will be a Scott Hatterberg type guy who may be able to stay as  C a little longer. He also did play some 3b

Donaldson

He’s still relatively new to the position of catcher, since he moved there in college. I liked him when I saw him with the Cubs, since it seemed like he had good enough mechanics and the right kind of body to handle it. As memory serves me, he just needed to repeat those mechanics and to work on his footwork.

Perhaps he has changed since last year, but it seemed like he had all the tools he needed to succeed there.

Rincon/Zawadzki

Zawadzki has the best IF arm in the Padres system. His range is ok and a lot of people expect him to move to 2B (rather than compete with Cabrerra) but at 2B he still has to compete against Sogard, Antonelli, and others (some suggest Forsythe could move to 2B)…

Rincon didn’t turn 19 until August, so he played 2009 at 18 yr old. Against older competition he hit .300/.415/.468… There’s actually disagreement whether he can stay at 3B. One scout said he needed to work on his footwork and he’d be fine. Others think he’s a future 1B or corner OF… But yeah, the bat should play at any position.

Thanks...

Off topic dome…but is there still hope for Antonelli?

OK

You’ve apparently returned to the site.

And not deleted the duplicate post.

Why? I mean, to be blunt, this is a pretty poor effort in general (random topic, no proofreading, etc). Having it taking up TWO fanpost slots is just ridiculous.

Ok

A few things…I am not sure who made you the ruler or editor of this site..I do apologize for the double post. I have had alotta computer issues the last few days.
I think someone forgot to dot and I or something on a blog sometime tuesday. The Commisioner(wait..thats you!!) should come down hard on these rulebreakers.
Go kick your dog or something and get over it…it really wasnt all that big a deal. Your therapist will tell you the same. If you dont wanna reply to something about baseball..just leave it alone and stay out of the post. You really should find a better hobby then this site if it upsets you so much…its not changing the course of fate or anything.

I've had that happen on other sites...

…where you hit “submit” and then your internet gets completely hung, then you re-submit, because it does not look like your submission went through and oops, you’ve double-posted. Is it really that big of a deal?

by pffriberg on Sep 19, 2009 7:58 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

You're absolutely right

But can’t you delete it retroactively? or John? This is really a ridiculous discussion though – I see fanposts 9 days old on the front page, so I really don’t think this is the biggest deal

OK

So, you could have apologized and just deleted the extra post, thus allowing another post to appear on the sidebar.

Instead, you’ve chosen to be a truculent ass about the whole thing. Well done.

Ok

I basically disregarded your first comment about deleting the post..as I said before..wasnt a big deal and really was not any of your business. I dont need you telling me or anyone what needs to be done. I dont do anything on your command. No one has appointed you quality control or any such official post..nobody needs to listen to you. I wasnt aware that I needed to run my topic thru you. You need to move on. Its a double post!!! worry about something that matters.

Yes..

Then I tried to see what I could do to change my post and it was so damn slow ..I said the hell with it . Maybe “PT” and I can just let it go and talk baseball.

It is a BIG DEAL

Then stop re-submitting if you know that it causes a problem! You could still take the time to delete the duplicate and leave room on the board for a legit post.

Why..are we running out of room on the internet? I wouldnt wanna tie up whats left of our availible internet space with repeat comments…that never happens on the internet. We better talk to Al Gore..didnt he invent the internet?

That was a burn man. I will NEVER get over that one…boy..you sure can call em…tell you what..stick to whatever else it is that you do. Do you find out some info about the internet? Maybe you should send me out a letter..I wouldnt want to waste precious internet space or anything….you and Paulthomas(or PT) and thejd44 can talk about me at your NAMBLA chapter meeting and come up with some inventive way to make somebody laugh. That would be a first for you guys

Wheeler

Think he goes back to Lo-A to start next year or gets the push to Hi-A?
