Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

Petagine!!!

Did you guys know that Roberto Petagine is STILL playing baseball. I just found him in the Korean Leagues. He's 38 and playing for a team called the LG Twins. He's fifth in the league in hitting at .342 and second in both homers and RBIs. That guy is my hero! Just an update for those of us that held a torch for so long.

I wish Billy Beane would bring Petagine back to the States for one more try, maybe in September after the Korean League season is over. It looks like LG is not going to make the playoffs. C'mon Billy, I dare you....

He's a guy who never really received his fair shake...

I think he could have done something if ever given a solid opportunity…

Wow, Petagine is 38 now?

One of those “man, we’re all getting old” moments right there.

Cool report...

Thanks for the update…I actually have an LG Twins ballcap that a friend bought me some years ago (he worked for Goldstar at the time)…now I can name a player from the team!
