6/27 MILB Thread
Here are some starting pitchers to track throughout the day and night
Clay Buchholz, Tom Gorzelanny, Troy Patton, Franklin Morales, Will Inman, Trevor Bell, Brad Holt, Brian Matusz, Jay Jackson, Jeremy Hellickson, Dan Cortes, Trevor Reckling, Nick Schmidt (High-A debut, could see him being fast-tracked if he's successful), Andrew Cashner, Richard Castillo, Jeremy Horst, Mauriclo Robles, Matt Fairel, Chris Carpenter, Brett DeVall, Hector Noesi, Young-Il Jung
As is often the case, there may be a few others as MILB adds names to the scoreboard pages, but these are the bulk of them.

Matusz
5 IP 1 ER 4 Ks 2 BB so far. This is facing an Altoona lineup with Alvarez, Gorkys, and Tabata. I like Matusz, and I know the Os are going slow with him, but I think he should be in AAA and in the majors by June of next year.
Schmidt
Nick Schmidt gets greeted in his 1st High A start by a leadoff hitter by the name of Manny Ramirez, who goes on to take Schmidt deep.

Remember: baseball guys... baseball...
I'm a big Barnese fan
I hope he faces some different lineups though. He has only faced two teams in 5 starts. Hard to get a good gauge.

Could any Braves fan tell me about Adam Milligan?
I had him has a pitcher but he has been hitting pretty well in Rookie Ball.
Remember: baseball guys... baseball...
Braves scouts love him
took the guy three years in a row before finally signing him. Other than that, he’s got a lot of raw power and athleticism (was recruited to play football out of high school) and is supposed to be decent in the field. Still raw but a guy to keep tabs on.
Gotta like it
It’s good to see a guy come back to playing so well after struggling with injuries for a couple years.
yes
i thought it was quite silly of BA to leave him out of the Royals top 30 prospects last winter. he’s top 10 quality in my opinion now.
baseball rules.
Alex Liddi
3-4, 2 HR, BB, 4 R, 5 RBI – monster day….I know it’s Cal League and all but up to up 19 HR’s already as a 20 year old
