Stassi to the Brewers. I wondered if this is a guy they would take. After the down performance this year by Salome, and Lawrie’s switch to 2b, the organizational strength at catcher is not what it appeared to be after last years draft, so a catcher at this spot might be good for them.
In the end though, I think the Brewers will go with a pitcher, if the right one is avaailable with that first pick, and take a catcher with one of the supplemental or 2nd round picks. I went with Jenkins here.
As for the next pick on the clock, and the M’s, they will probably go just like the Brewers and either pitcher or one of the good catchers available. I went with

Until I see the new direction I am convinced the M’s are hell bent on building a pitching staff with nothing but relievers, everyone pitches an inning a day. they go with the reliever.

but thinking about it right now, i wonder if poythress, myers, gould stand out to me as possible Z picks for some reason.
