here's hoping the iowa rosters

are different come august. i mean, it’s a solid aaa team, but here’s hoping better talent is up there late in the year. at the very least, i hope that tony thomas/darwin barney would be manning the middle. maybe clevenger behind the plate (hard to see castillo making it up as of right now). There may be an outside shot that Jay Jackson is up there.

Yeah, not looking like there will be any great prospects playing, but it’s still a great time. I picked up 2 tickets right behind 3b, for $17 each, row 2.

if i wanted those tickets to a cubs game, they would be $150 each, according to those resale websites.

last year the only decent prospect at the Road To Wrigley game was Jemile Weeks, and he left the game hurt after leading off. Vitters wasn’t around, but the game was still a ton of fun. Best game i’ve been to in a long time.

just .. the chance to be in Wrigley with such good seats for such a small amount of money, it’s great.
anyone baseball fans in chicago should definitely check it out. i’m driving there from MN.
