Has a fracture in his wrist and will miss 6-8 weeks.

That stinks, he is one of the prospects I was really looking forward to following this year, I guess the silver lining is that he will not be out for the season. Hopefully he comes back earlier and picks up where he left off.

Double-A Jacksonville's Logan Morrison is expected to miss 6-8 weeks due to a small fracture in his right wrist.

Morrison was injured when he reached for a throw at first base and got his arm tangled up with the baserunner. The injury lessens the chances that we'll see him in the majors during 2009.

i was really looking forward to tracking his progress all year… I was expecting him to tear through AA, and be in AAA by July.

Wrist injuries...

while not usually career threatening, they seem to usually keep your power in check all season long. I expect his numbers to be a little underwhelming when he returns, but will make his 2010 season look even better.
