I know we have a ton of these, but what pitcher would you want??
Ok guys, I am looking for help and I apologize because I know a ton of these roll in all the time. I am in a huge keeper league and essentially unloaded all my prospects for major league help, but I added some high draft picks in the minor league portion along the way, so I need to re-stock.
So, I am going to toss in a poll about which starting pitcher would you most like to have. Let me know why...

Strasburg and I don’t even feel like it’s close. The guy is a freak. The other pitchers are nice, but if I had a chance to get Strasburg i’d walk over each of them to do it.
I think Bumgarner is close
But I went with Strasburg too, because he’s a little older and his stuff seems to be somewhat more polished

Strasburg has way better stuff
Doesn’t he have some injury concerns, though?
Doesn't everybody?

I suppose
but in Strasburg’s case it seems to be something that might lower his stock, if anything can.
My point is that Bumgarner also has injury concerns
by virtue of being a pitcher. Lots of pitchers get injured, lots seemingly forget how to pitch, etc. Strasburg being a little closer to the majors gives him the slight nod in my book

Strasburg
Trust me man, I’ve done an infinite number of these. Strasburg is the best pitching prospect to not make a major league roster this year. The kid hasn’t even been drafted yet, and he’s definitely the number 1. I would take them in the order you have them (Strasburg, Bumgarner, Feliz, Hanson).
I've heard concerns from
amateurs, but not from anyone who actually talks to scouts. I’d be really interested in HuskerBob’s opinion on the subject. He has no history of injuries, isn’t overworked at this point, I’m not concerned.

I consider Mr. Boddy to be “expert”, but that’s just me.
hype?
you gotta suspect Strasburg to be a case of over-hype…at least a little .. i remember when Jered Weaver’s name was first mentioned, it quickly spready EVERYWHERE… it was like Weaver-mania, and he was a Boras client so looking back, i wouldnt be surprised if some respected prospect sources got a little encouragement (ahem) but it happens with countless top-flight college pitchers because we know theres a good chance they’re almost mlb ready… i’d rather see how he does after the draft, in the minors..
