Greetings to the Collected Wisdom:

I'm attending UMD vs. Maryland Eastern Shore this afternoon, assuming the game is held (there's rain in the forecast). Are there any actual prospects on either team that I should keep an eye on?

Gerry Spessard for UMD seems impressive statistically, but he's a senior. A.J. Casario appears to have good power, and is a junior, but doesn't have a good K/BB ratio (14/4).

He’s a probable high round draft choice, depending on how his entire season plays out. By that I mean 3-5 round in all likelihood.

Maryland..

is really bad..watched them get smoked by GA Tech this past weekend. I didnt see anyone to write home about.

Cannot speak on Eastern Shore.

It was a fun game despite some poor catching. We stopped counting wild pitches/passed balls after the first inning.

Nobody on either team really looked like a prospect, though. A couple of scouts were right behind home plate, and neither of them wrote anything down.
